Usage Steps:
1. Use the application's browser to navigate to a website.
2. The browser will try to find any playable video, movie or music on that site.
3. Then play locally on Phone/Tablet or cast to TV with Chromecast or one of the compatible streaming receivers.

Features and Limitations of Some Streaming Receivers
Screen mirroring:
– Screen mirroring is only available on newer Android devices.

Roku Streaming devices and TV:
– Screen Mirroring can be enabled in settings
– Remote control
– no video resume/clear, no audio streaming, some file formats not supported.

Apple TV AirPlay:
– AirPlay must be enabled in settings
– For Android 6.0 Marshmallow and above, Battery Optimization must be disabled, local audio and photo streaming is not supported. MKV files are not supported. Some url formats are not supported.

Xbox One and Xbox 360:
– DLNA must be enabled in settings

Fire TV: some video movie formats are not supported.

The following streaming devices and Smart TVs are also supported: DLNA devices, Android TV, Xbox One and Xbox 360, WebOS, Netcast

If you have any of these models, please check that it has one of the streaming receivers to see if it is compatible with casting to a TV.

Castify does not switch video sources. Only sends the original source to your stream receivers. The app does not host any content. Therefore, the compatibility and availability of the videos depends on the source websites themselves.

-This app only streams from websites that use the generic format. Proprietary video and movie formats will not be cast to the TV.

-If a video does not play or the connection drops, there may be several reasons:
1. ISP (Internet Service Provider)
2. The source website itself
3. Insufficient WIFI signal strength

Troubleshooting:
-Make sure your WIFI connection is stable and on the same network. A good internet connection is required to cast online movies to TV.
–Most connection problems can be resolved by restarting the casting receivers or the phone.
-Flash movie websites are not supported by streaming device manufacturers.
