The Hollywood Actors Guild's 118-day strike has ended, so work on many projects will soon resume.
According to Deadline, shooting on the Minecraft movie adaptation should start in 2024, but in the meantime, work on the construction of sets and preparation of the film crew continues. In contrast, the sequel to the Mortal Kombat action movie, released in 2021, will continue shooting where shooting ended before the strike began. This will also happen early next year.
The Minecraft movie is expected to be released in 2025. Jason Momoa (“Aquaman”) has signed on to play the lead role. The sequel to Mortal Kombat will be released at the end of 2024.
