This option will allow you to open multiple tabs at the same time. So there will be two different versions of the browser on the screen. The user will be able to work with them by splitting the screen or displaying windows one on top of the other. Interestingly, both versions of the browser can be linked to different accounts with saved bookmarks, history and other features. Therefore, it can be useful for users who need to distinguish between personal and work space.
You can enable Insane Switcher via the “Manage windows” item in the settings. When enabled, the screen displays two Chrome options in an interface similar to Android's multitasking menu. For convenience, the user will be able to change the size of the windows using the available slider.
Insane Switcher was added to Google Chrome 108.0.5359.128. It may not be available in some regions yet.
