Rockstar recently updated its own official launcher that mentions the classic GTA trilogy. Early assumptions that the games would receive the Unreal Engine have been confirmed. One of the first users to find confirmation of the initial rumors was a VideoTech user. He shared the finding on GTAForums.
VideoTech, famous in the Rockstar community, shared a post on Twitter. The post belongs to Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, aka GTA Trilogy Remastered, which is rated by the South Korean Game Rating and Management Agency. According to the rating agency data, the games are definitely developed with Epic Games' advanced game engine, Unreal Engine.
Official confirmation from Rockstar regarding the release of the trilogy has not yet been reported. The announcement will probably be made on October 22 in honor of the release anniversary of GTA III. The games are expected to be released on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Android and iOS.
