Legendary CS:GO Map Cache Officially Coming to CS2 Adding!
Valve has reached an agreement with the creator of the popular custom map Cache to be officially included in CS2! Famous modder FMPONE confirmed on its Twitter account that the developers approached it with an offer to purchase the rights to the location soon after the map was added to the Steam Workshop at the end of March.

Cache has become a cult favorite among gamers since the days of CS:GO, with the unique Soviet aesthetic of an abandoned industrial plant and a balanced design. Analysis of the code of the latest CS2 update indicates that the map will soon be included in the game's official map list. In particular, FMPONE emphasized that it accepted Valve's offer without hesitation and that it was a great honor for it.
Valve Values Community Maps
Valve's decision continues its tradition of integrating the best custom-made locations into official Counter-Strike competitive modes. This has happened before with famous locations such as Overpass and Cobblestone. This is a clear indication that Valve listens to the gaming community and values the content players enjoy. With the addition of Cache to CS2, the playability and diversity of the game will further increase.
Cache's Legacy in CS:GO
Cache has hosted countless unforgettable memories in the CS:GO scene. Its simple yet effective design offered an enjoyable experience for both professional and casual gamers. Conflicts in the mid lane and strategies to defend and capture bomb zones have made Cache one of the most popular maps of CS:GO. It is expected to achieve the same popularity in CS2.

The news of Cache coming to CS2 created great excitement in the gaming community. Players are eagerly waiting for what the map will look like with its new graphics and game mechanics. In particular, the effects of improvements in CS2’s smoke bombs and bullet tracking system on Cache are a matter of great curiosity. Many players have already started to develop strategies in Cache with their friends.
New Maps Are Expected to Be Added to CS2
Valve's decision to add Cache to CS2 has raised hopes that other community-made maps may be included in the game in the future.
