Smartphones with bottom-screen cameras are no longer a surprise, but lens hiding technology is still damp and needs improvement. Many brands in the lineup have devices with such a camera, and Vivo is working on a similar model that will have an elegant solution for module placement.
The manufacturer will place the camera below the charging indicator icon. This will mask the lens and get an error-free screen. If the user puts the smartphone in a horizontal position, another icon appears in place of the charging icon. Once the camera is activated, the need for camouflage will be eliminated and the sensor will be able to collect a normal amount of light rays to take photos.
While this camera placement idea is a good thing in itself, it is unclear whether it will happen. Probably the manufacturer will try to implement this idea in the new NEX 4 smartphone that will be released in 2022.
